Parti - Plan View

The second Parti diagram was design in a plan form so I could express the other themes that I couldn’t express in the previous elevated diagram.
The Piloti are expressed in a grid format and not attached to any walls (lines), this expresses the free, open and flexibility of the plan.
The rectangular shape in the centre of the party diagram expressed with multiple axis shows how the building remains central to the ramp within the Villa Savoye. The ramp is centrally positioned so the user can vacate the ramp and then to enter any part of the building.
The free facade in its curved form is expressed by having no attachments to any columns allowing the design to have no load baring considerations amongst the walls. The curved for acts as a conveyer as the arrows run around the volume; designed in a mechanical form express movement of machine (the vehicle). These arrows also express how one enters the building by going underneath the elevated volume.
