Parti - Elevation View

The building is expressed in three stages the ground, the rectangular volume and the garden roof.
I wanted to represent the key themes in which le Corbusier wanted to show in his design. The Piloti are drawn right through the building to show how the building structurally stands with no load baring walls. The elevated rectangular volume is poised above nature allowing the garden and air to run underneath it which give the diagram a sense of weightlessness.
The intended ribbon window diagrammatically drawn stretching from one end of the rectangle to the other expressed to show how sunlight enters throughout the entire building. It is expressed to show how the windows and the sunlight unify the building.
By expressing the free facade; the Piloti are set back away from the face of the building this shows how the facade doesn’t rely on load baring considerations.
The ramp in the middle of the building is presented mechanic like to show the function of the building in terms of free flowing circulation. It gives the building machine like qualities.
